Excitement

Davan was very excited with a particular lucky find at the library yesterday.  She is an avid Peas and Thank You blog follower and couldn't have been more pleased when she found the recipe book sitting right there at lucky find.

And, it turns out, it was my lucky day, too, because I came home from walking the dog this morning to find her in the kitchen, rummaging around.  Now, Davan does cook here and there.  She sometimes gets quite into it.  Other times not so much.  Almost never does she make breakfast.  Today, though, it was a different story.

We had Chocolate Almond Cherry Smoothies.  Davan gripped good naturedly at me for taking her picture with bed head, but this is keeping it real, folks.

The smoothies were tasty and I was pleased not to make breakfast this morning when I'm both feeling a little under the weather and have a lot on my to do list.  (Anyone know how to get a money order, registered cheque or bank draft in Canadian dollars?)
