Thanks for the Reminder, Max

We're having a morning. No swim lessons for Max this morning. He peed all over the toilet seat, refused to clean it up and chose to not participate in morning chores. I choose, therefore, not to make him breakfast (he was able to get his own, so this isn't a no food thing, just a no smoothie thing) or to take him to swimming. And I was willing to take it easy on him this morning, too. He just woke up angry and pushed a lot. Not uncommon.

  1. I know that the end is near and this might be not appropriate. Yet, I think that you already have the same mindset that I did...and/or you need to w/the hole swimming lessons/breakfast issue today.

There were many times that I did not 'make' food for Cor. He was plenty capable of eating PBJ - he HATED THIS!!

A mom who is crapped on (litterally and figuratively speaking. hehe) can not nore should she make food for someone who treats them like dirt. A mom who is hit, bit, threatened...well, that calls for the same deal.

There were many days in our home that C - fended for himself. There are children in this world who get 1 basic healthy meal a day and it does not have as many nutrients as PBJ does. I didn't neglect my child. I made it very clear that "I" am not nor will I be treated like dirt. You are respectful, responsible and fun to be around OR I am not fun to be around.

    When Momma Ain't Happy....

    Ain't NObody Happy!!!

Not sure where I'm going w/this other than to send out hugs!!!
